It is a great movie prop gun, Stage Prop gun or for collecting and display. Our model features wood stocks, metal receiver / barrel, working action and removable metal magazine. This metal model AK47 replica can be disassembled. It is a non Firing Replica Gun and not be converted to fire blanks or live ammo. Length: 34”, Weight: 9.5 lbs. History of the AK47: Avtomat Kalashnikova 1947 rifle was designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov, produced by Russian manufacturer Izhevsk Mechanical Works. The AK 47 was used in many Eastern bloc nations during the Cold War. It was adopted and standardized in 1947.
